Some initial thoughts

Ever notice how people in the media give the impression that they are without political bias of any kind, then proceed to deliver their 'facts' with the most obnoxious, arrogant air?

I think it only fair that I give a few background beliefs that most certainly affect what I write, guide how I feel, and contribute to my opinions.

Here is a partial list:

I believe positive discussion is better than negativity.

My Christianity is not measured by whether or not someone agrees with my beliefs.

I have no patience for those suffering with Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Fatherhood is one of the great marvels of my life, equaled only by Husbandhood.

Teaching is more effective than bludgeoning.

I believe in loving life, believing scripture, acting according to what I know, smiling.
